Joshua Bohnsack is the author of the story collection Shift Drink (Spork Press, forthcoming 2021), and the chapbooks Shivers (No Rest Press, forthcoming 2021) and Burnt Sienna (Throwback Books, 2017) and his work has appeared in The Rumpus, Hobart, Salt Hill, AGNI, SAND, Lit Hub, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Essay Daily, Five:2:One, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, and others. He is the founding editor of Long Day Press, a hand-bound chapbook publisher, an MFA graduate in creative writing at Northwestern University, the assistant managing editor for TriQuarterly, adjunct professor and advisor of Oyez Review, former marketing at Dalkey Archive Press, and former managing editor of Curbside Splendor Publishing.
He grew up on a farm and ran an ice cream shop in rural Illinois until he moved to Chicago. In addition to writing & publishing, he is a printmaker and makes music.
