Joshua Bohnsack's work has appeared in The Rumpus, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Salt Hill, AGNI, SAND, Lit Hub, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Essay Daily, and others.  
He is the founding editor of Long Day Press, faculty advisor of Oyez Review, and teaches at Roosevelt University's MFA in creative writing program. He received an MFA in creative writing at Northwestern University and a BA at the University of Iowa. Previously he served as the managing editor for TriQuarterly, editorial assistant at Dalkey Archive Press, and managing editor of Curbside Splendor Publishing. 
He grew up on a farm and ran an ice cream shop in rural Illinois until he moved to Chicago. In addition to writing & publishing, he is a printmaker and makes music, currently with the Iowa country band Gold Dust and in the ambient project Casts.
