Joshua Bohnsack‘s work has appeared in The Rumpus, Hobart, Salt Hill, AGNI, SAND, Lit Hub, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Essay Daily, Always Crashing, and others. He is the author of the chapbooks Shivers (No Rest Press, forthcoming 2021) and Burnt Sienna (Throwback Books, 2017).

He is the founding editor of Long Day Press, a hand-bound chapbook publisher, the managing editor for TriQuarterly, adjunct professor and advisor of Oyez Review, former marketing at Dalkey Archive Press, and former managing editor of Curbside Splendor Publishing. He recieved an MFA in creative writing at Northwestern University and a BA at the University of Iowa.

He grew up on a farm and ran an ice cream shop in rural Illinois until he moved to Chicago. In addition to writing & publishing, he is a printmaker and makes music.
